 Dr. Goyal  Dr. Ameet Goyal is a board-certified ophthalmologist and oculoplastic surgeon practicing in Rye and Wappingers Falls, NY. He went to Culver Military Academy and then proceeded to Vanderbilt University where he graduated magna cum laude with high honors in psychology. Dr. Goyal remained in the Midwest for medical school at the University of Cincinnati's School of Medicine and was an AIMS representative. It was during his clinical rotations in medical school, that Dr. Goyal discovered much to his surprise, that he really enjoyed ophthalmology. His father was a general practitioner and he had thought that he would continue in the family tradition. This background led Dr. Goyal to do a rotating internship in medicine at West Virginia University because he believed that as an ophthalmologist, it was important to be able to recognize and take care of systemic diseases and disorders - particularly since many of these manifest themselves in the eye. Dr. Goyal completed his ophthalmology residency at University of Louisville where he was given a Pride in Caring Award. He continued on to Wills Eye Hospital where he completed an accredited fellowship in ophthalmic plastic and reconstructive surgery. Dr. Goyal is a member of ASOPRS (American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery), an organization of approximately 500 oculoplastic surgeons with stringent credentialing requirements. He is currently in private practice and is involved in teaching at Westchester Medical Center where he is an Assistant Attending Physician at NY Medical College. Over the past twelve years, Dr. Goyal has also taught several ophthalmology board review courses.Dr. Auerbach  Robert Auerbach, M.D. is a board certified ophthalmologist specializing in general ophthalmology, pediatric and adolescent ophthalmology and contact lens fitting. Dr. Auerbach graduated with general and departmental honors from Vassar College in Biochemisty. He received his medical degree from SUNY Downstate. Dr. Auerbach is well-versed with medical issues having completed two years of internal medical training at Beth Israel Medical Center in New York City and an ophthalmology residency at SUNY Downstate. Dr. Auerbach has been in private practice for approximately 14 years.Dr. Singh  Satindarpal Singh, M.D. specializes in general ophthalmology and has a special interest in cornea. Dr. Singh is a native New Yorker, graduating from Adelphi University with a Bachelors of Science degree in Biology and then continued on to Tulane University's School of Medicine. His internship and residencies were completed at Saint Vincent's Hospital and Medical Center in New York City and while at Saint Vincent's, he was Chief Resident. Dr. Singh completed a practical cornea fellowship with Central New York Eye Center in Poughkeepsie. He is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the New York State Ophthalmological Society, and the Westchester County Medical Society. |
