Eye Exams, Contact Fitting & More

Your eyes are your windows to the world and require regular medical attention. Yet, many people visit the ophthalmologist only when they think something is wrong. If you are one of them, you may be putting your eye health at risk. Nearly 35% of adults live with some type of visual impairment without realizing it, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

That’s why we recommend an annual eye examination by a top eye doctor for adults and children. Not only can we correct any current eyesight problems, we also look for signs of conditions that may threaten your vision in the future. As part of our exam, we will evaluate your:

  • Visual acuity (ability to see detail)
  • Need for eyeglasses or contact lenses (refraction)
  • Coordination of eye muscles
  • Pupil response to light
  • Side (peripheral) vision
  • Glaucoma risk
  • Eyelid health & function
  • Interior & back of the eye
  • Eye lens for cataracts
  • Retina for age-related macular degeneration

Eyeglass & Contact Lens Exams

Each pair of eyes is unique. That’s why we expertly contour corrective lenses to suit your eyes alone.

If you wear progressive or bifocal lenses, we will align the lenses with your natural line of sight while reading, working at a computer or driving. If you prefer contact lenses, we will help you choose the most comfortable lenses for your eyes. We offer soft spherical, soft toric lenses for astigmatism, one-day disposable, colors for light and dark eyes, monovision correction, gas-permeable, bifocal, multifocal, progressive and specialty lenses. Our doctors are also experienced in keratoconnus.
